Everly ("we", "us", or "our") is a service operated by OverQuota Inc. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it. We've written it in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Your email address — when you sign up for early access or create an account
• Your phone number — to send you text-based approvals and reminders
• Names, dates, and relationships — the people you add and their important dates, so we can remind you and prepare cards on your behalf
• Mailing addresses — of the recipients you choose to send physical cards to
• Payment information — processed securely through our payment provider; we never store your card details directly

How we use it

• To provide the Everly service — reminders, drafted messages, card sending, and gift cards
• To contact you via text for approvals and updates
• To improve the service over time
• To send you occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

Mobile information

No mobile information about SMS opt-in or consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS messaging provider, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
• We do not share your information with third parties except as needed to deliver the service (e.g. our card printing and mailing partner, payment processor)
• We do not use your data for advertising

Data of others

When you add someone to Everly — their name, birthday, or mailing address — you're responsible for having their permission to share that information with us. We use it only to send cards and gifts on your behalf and never contact those people directly.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal information within 30 days. Some information may be retained longer where required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you promptly in the event of a breach.

Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies — only what's needed for basic analytics to understand how people use the site. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or via the app. Continued use of Everly after changes means you accept the updated policy.
